Major involvement in LAMP stack environment core development. Worked in building over 100 projects consist of websites, web-based application, and API gateway for Australian clients from a wide range of organizational bodies. Extending simple CMS capabilities to support many forms of requirements, handling high traffic users and useful tools. Ryan also have been employed to work with a much bigger Canadian-UK based company for their in-house development team between 2014 and 2016. He reported directly to CTO specifically in developing internal tools and large data processing engine. The work involved in depth reporting in PHP frameworks, comprehensively focusing on performance and quality delivery in targeted time frame.
Ryan work beliefs that each project could be delivered within given, calculated, stipulated and agreed time frame. Time and Cost, the two crucial factors for any Managers. The deliverables may be effected in terms of its flexibility and robustness, hence it's lifecycle and viability of the project. In fact, delivering a project in limited time would require a longer maintenance process whereas a simple enhancement to the program could lead to a revamp; shorter lifespan of the system.
Designing an architecture is not just simply creating a base for a system as per need or as per required. A good structure is defined as the ability to withstand the application lifecycle, with minimal changes, in four to five years of usage. Although this would be contrary to the OOP ideology, this is the main reason why we need an Analyst to decide which way to proceed.
