Worst: knowing I will be bound by the time frame of The Office once season four launches this fall.
Best: meeting someone “in the wild” yesterday who had an iPhone and then been given the pleasure of messing around with it while she and her husband bought a MacBook Pro.
Worst: meeting someone who saw the single Zune on display at the bookstore and said, in awe, “there it is …”
Best: the weather cooling down and wind relaxing enough that cycling is more like cutting through butter than through stale bread.
Worst: colder mornings where walking around without a jacket is not a possibility, so then once you get to work you have to take your jacket off.
Best: whistling “Didn’t Leave Nothin’ But The Baby” on the walk to work because the mist and chill clearly remind me of that moment in O, Brother even though mist and chill are not present in that scene.
Best: one serving of M&Ms in the evening after a hefty ride through Ellett Valley.
Worst: one serving equals one king-size bag.
Worst: one king-size bag equals the desire to buy two king-size bags on my next visit to the grocery store.
Best: chocolate food comas.
