Is this your first time reading Catcher in the Rye? What did you think? It's been a few years since I've read it but I remember learning a lot about myself from it. One thing I remember was Holden explaining how he hates inconveniencing people and how it seemed so easy for women to do it. I thought about that exact part of the book the other day as I was sitting in traffic behind a minivan who had completely stopped traffic because she realized she needed to turn left instead of go straight and thought nothing of forcing everyone else to wait as she moved over. I, on the other hand, would never dream of making another car wait as a result of my not paying attention. I would go completely out of my way to turn around and go back to where I needed, all along being extremely frustrated that it's so easy for some women to do what they do. I think you can relate?
