I’ve been doing some research for a new, friendly USB keyboard. Wireless is fun, but having the extra USB ports available (which is usually the case now with USB keys) is important to me. Plus, I’m not the type who sit at a distance from the desk to key in whatever. Anyways. I came across this in CNET. Just read it first. k? Before we know it, software applications will be directing our transit systems and allowing us access into our places of employment. Oh… wait… But in all seriousness, my child spawn with either A) be taught by robots or B) will be a cyborg strain of le human race. Now my only shortcoming would be to combine my gene data with a similarly advanced algorithm. And, apparently the only contender so far is Google. Talk about one sexy algorithm. Oh, why wasn’t I taught by robots! To my misfotune, the only robot around when I was a child was Speak & Spell.
Jeremiah linked this article first, but I had it in my inbox thanks to VTMUG. Absolutely worth a read.
And before I leave, there is another link worth noting. At least for me. Because I think it is totally way cool and awesome and I cannot have had a better Friday without it. IDEA 2005. For the record, I read them all.

If our kids are taught by computers I’d hate to see it…
From the CNET image you link:
(1) As this uses none batteries, be sure to keep some spare replacements handy.

Kellan - this is a graphic I worked on several months ago, so I am not positive of that photo’s origin. But if I am not mistaken, I believe I just a Google image search for “Chicago skyline”. It was among a myriad of other skyline images.
