Despite my tendencies to sneeze, to have bright red and swollen eyes, and to become delirious when I’m around felines for any length of time, I will be spending my evening with one ferocious Tiger. And also with lots of fantastic people.
This being my first OS X release experience as a full-fledged Mac user, I am looking forward to tonight with expectation. I’d also like to thank Jeremiah for making me jealous of his iBook when we were those geeks who sat together at lunch in high school.
But I should be leaving!

Ahh … you’re so lucky! There are no Apple Stores in Canada and my university’s bookstore doesn’t get it until tomorrow. I could visit a Mac store, but I’d rather take advantage of my student discount. Hope you have fun with Tiger tonight.

I also was in line at 6pm, and the line was LONG. I got to hang out with the dude dressed in an awesome Tiger outfit (even had the Apple badge on, LOL) and now have Tiger, all my apps, and information restored (fresh install).
Biggest breakthrough: I do not think I will ever “visit” a website again… Apple has done RSS so amazingly I have no need for NetNewsWire anymore. Dashboard is more like “heh.. cool I guess”.. but Quicktime 7 (already bought Pro) with HD is amazing. Also, anyone else notice the interface to iPhoto 5 got completely different if you’re using it with Tiger? Isn’t that odd? It’s all grey now…

I’m just going to say I hate you for getting Tiger already since stupid Apple can’t ship things correctly
