inexorably

I’ve got some catching up to do.

Monday was my day off. It was wonderful to take an entire day at an easy pace. That’s all I have to say about my Memorial Day.

Tuesday was back to work. It was insane; apparently, since my co-worker, who injured himself and now it out for a few weeks, isn’t around other people are obliged to use the temps as slave laborers under the crack of a whip. Obviously, it wasn’t literally that bad, but Tuesday and Wednesday at work was a rush and overbearing. But it’s over with now and. Yeah.

Tuesday night my dad and I took a ride to Best Buy. We checked out the wireless keyboards and mice and I picked up the Microsoft Wireless Desktop Elite. After much research and assistance, I decided this would be a comfortable purchase for my needs. Honestly, I haven’t had much time to use it thus far because I’ve been slaughtered with tasks to do, but I’ll inform everyone of its quirks and advantages eventually.

I can only say that Wednesday was my nemesis of business. After work I finally shipped my SanDisk compact flash card, thanks to FedEx and then deposited my first pay check. It took me 9 months to return this media card, but it will be worth it :)

Once I got home, I washed the car and then read. A nap carried on my lax breathing rate once Les Mis was thoroughly gleaned. Then I woke up for some Japanese to eat and I was off. On to Blue Ridge! And it was spectacular. That church is something else, simply put. Following, I went to Starbucks to continue my Latin lessons and put aside my tensions for a few minutes. That was worth it.

This morning provided me with enough awe to last weeks. I caught a reflected glimpse of a sunrise while driving to work; something unseen yet not overlooked. While not actually viewing the sunrise itself, as there were too many trees around to notice any galactic rays, I watched it all unfold thanks to the perfect cloud cover that stretched from horizon to horizon. As the sun broke past the first hills, the clouds exploded in red flame and stayed this way briefly to awaken any lackadaisy roosters. The clouds retained only a small portion of their faded, navy blues during this period as even they could not restrain such beauty. Once the sun entered fully, the redish glow turned sour and began to emit lesser colors, specifically orange and…dwindling…yellow. It was so good. Grood!

And sorry to the emails I have not yet replied to. I will do so soon. I’ve simply been very behind and my go.com email only started working again Tuesday night.

Note: I do like this leather-like feel on the keyboard and mouse; I like it indeed.
