gastrointestinal fun
A friend of mine, who has appeared in a few random webcam shots, won an iPod today from the good people of Dentyne. And now he is considering buying a Mac for the UNIX-based excitement (he’s in computer science). I’m happy for him.
My EF project is done. The report was nearly one hundred pages and consumed maybe 40 manhours of work. Our performance went well too. The objective of this whole thing was to build a racquetball launcher to get a racquetball into a basketball goal from the foul line, three-point line, and two other places; other constraints limited size, weight, type of propulsion, and the amount of money spent. All said and done, our design made 27 baskets in four minutes, the most of any group. That was really amazing. Definitely attributed to a simple and ergonomic design, brought to you by a few, freshmen engineering students. So I had a Frap to celebrate.
But my work is not done. Several of my classes still have major tests upcoming before the spring finals. And I have exorbitant amounts of reading to read.
Oh. And I got one of the four A’s on the second EF test. That’s 4 A’s out of 127 people. That made me happy as well.
So tonight, I think I will celebrate my latest achievements with some Bollo’s coffee. And maybe some Crossroads music.
It’s been a nice week. Very busy and endless, but it has had its redeeming qualities.
What am I saying? It’s only Wednesday night…
::sigh::
