i rock the mix x2

It’s a strange, cold, and awkward feeling being bored. I despise it greatly but with all of this Thanksgiving break time on my hands (and little to do in Lynchburg, especially since interesting places close rather early) I am having to cope with the most intense stages of boredom I’ve endured in long times past. I’ve started to play Sim City 2000 once again. Yeah, talk about having nothing to do.

Although last night I soloed one to see Pirates Of The Caribbean. I was really hoping to be amazed as many of my comrades had themselves told me of their amazement. Needless to say I thought this film was overrated. If not for the combination of Depp and Bloom, then for the 1950s-esque ‘clever’ ending to the bad guy. I don’t know, I just didn’t enjoy it. It was clearly a quick attempt at making some late summer blockbuster cash (which it greatly succeeded at doing) but it lacked emphasis in the plot and cinematography departments. Oh well. I thought this was a DVD buy for me, but that was before I saw it. Now…I’ll settle with seeing it for a buck fifty.

Post-movie I went to The Drowsy Poet for a mocha and time scheduled for thinking. It was rather enjoyable, especially since the place was nearly empty and they had emo music at ample volumes in the background. Drowsy is my Bollo’s away from Bollo’s.

And today I got my second round HepatitisB and also my flu shot. Now my arm is plastered with two Looney Tunes band aids to keep my gelatinous interior from expressing itself.

Hopefully tomorrow will prove itself of great entertainment. My plans forecast just that :)
