holding on for deer life
We had a sub in my sociology class today. He was very liberal and believes that society can reach a near-perfect utopia if only we stole from the rich and gave to the poor. Arg. And he definitely bashed the idea of a 6-day creation and populating of the world from Adam and Eve. Dems against prejudices and discrimination that don’t realize they are prejudiced are just not cool. That’s all I’m saying about that.
::rewind:: Saturday was the game against Miami. Pre-this-event my Compact Flash card completely crashed and stopped working, so I took an emergency trip to Target to grab a new *smaller capacity* one. And my phone started failing. And then Tabitha called me like a thousand times during the game to apparently ask for the score, but ::speaking to her:: you must realize that it was absolutely impossible to hear anything at any time during that game especially on my phone::end personal note::. My ears still hurt, although my throat never truly pained me from screaming. So yeah, that was the most amazing game, but I didn’t rush the field afterwards. Oh well. Great fun. Post-game, Abigail, Maggie, Jason, and I went to Express for some grease and then back to the suite to watch The Godfather.
About the film. I was very impressed, but I should definitely watch it again sometime because at times there was great background *noise* that drowned out lines and whatnot, so I likely missed some important parts. But I really liked what I could glean from it.
Sunday I did homework and study. Same thing today although I tossed in a couple classes just for kicks. Tonight is an APEX practice and more studying. Plus I’ll continue to feel the effects of the meager sleep I attained this weekend. Great fun.
