::sigh:: at least I kept my promise. Here’s the failure-of-a-new design. Trust me, if I knew how to do flash this thing would be amazing. But I don’t. So I’m stuck with a bar to the right that nearly kills text as it encroaches on my text territory. See it did it again. You’ll just have to suck it up for this design, and take the punches as they come. I am really hoping to get a new design out by the end of November. My reason for actually publishing this monstrosity is to entice me along on my next design, which I’ve already designed and layed out (just have to build it). So here goes the Audi look. Email me if you want to mock it.

Basically the only thing going on around campus, for me, has been homework and studying. I went to a couple of Engineering department meetings (required for EF). They both went rather well. The mechanical side is more appealing to me than elsewhere, but time is still on my side. Who knows. I may switch majors to Art History? Now wouldn’t that be a lark.

Abigail and I went to an ice cream thing that was scheduled in one of the AJ crossovers. It was hosted by a former prof here at VT and he would eventually make us all liquid-nitrogen ice cream. I am so phenominally glad that we went to this. Reasons being: #1 the prof looked like Robin Williams (the actor); #2 the prof talked like Robin Williams (again, the actor); and finally #3 the prof was as amazingly funny as Mr. Williams himself (the actor Robin Williams I mean). I’m surprised he isn’t teaching anymore. While of course he was rather up in age, this wonderful person who entertained us and gave us tips regarding how to communicate with our advisors and profs had more life left in him than many profs I’ve seen. Although, I am not about to bash the faculty here, because I am perfectly impressed with the administration and faculty here at Tech, but still…the guy who made us all liquid nitrogen ice cream is one gracious and delightful human being. Anyways, that was a great evening.

So today was class then test. After 6 weeks of material, my Honors Vector Geo prof finally gave a test. That’s a lot to study for. But it makes it easier to study for, because you know he won’t question you on the small things, but rather on the broad basic areas. And that’s exactly how it was. But not to make it sound easy, the test was evil, as expected, yet I think I prepared well.

Concluding, I’m going to start the new design as soon as I get some free time. Let’s hope that is soon and very soon.
