The never-ending weekend of reunions.

Friday, I met up with Jeremiah and Rianna for dinner (hadn’t seen Rianna is several months and Jeremiah since lunch, but he was in SD for a looong time so the lunch doesn’t count). Jeremiah cooked a nice tofu stir-fry, so I enjoyed several vegetables and food-supplements for the first time. I also tried Naked Juice, the most healthy and also most putrid assortment of pro-vitamins/minerals pureed into a bottle. So the evening was filled with catching up, good/new food, and all of the best music to ‘melt your speakers with’ (the last part was an allusion, so if you didn’t catch it then just don’t bother).

Saturday I slept in somewhat and woke up to find this baby turtle outside on our front walk. Very cute. Especially even more cute after seeing that beast turtle earlier in the week. Yes, this baby turtle was definitely awww.

Then I met up with Jeremiah for a long day of shopping and harassing store clerks. We had a prolonged stay at BestBuy with much looking into digicams because I’m wanting to get one soon. Then we eventually made it to the mall (many stops along the way) and had a great time at GAP. The store people there were very helpful in collectively providing insight to aid in my search for the ‘perfect jeans.’ Some nice times. After a gift card and a store discount I only paid 15$-ish for a pair of jeans, a dress shirt, and a niiiice jacket/coat. Then we were sure to stop by DQ to see Rachel and get some ‘Misty’ drinks.

Saturday night, we both met up with Adam to see a movie. I hadn’t seen him since the last time I saw Jeremiah, so this was absolutely another reunion. We chose The Core because the rest of the movies were mainly cheesy comedies or chick flicks and we happened to be in a let’s-laugh-at-a-movie-not-with-it mood. Wow, I haven’t been so amused since Vertical Limit after Jeremiah’s graduation last year. This movie takes unrealism to a whole new level. This is one of those films to see just to entirely make fun of it and its feeble attempts to even be melodramatic. Could I even possibly score it higher than a 1 out of 10?

We then proceeded to Barnes for some Frappucinos and conversation. Enjoyed. Then back to Mark’s place for some computer geekiness time. Adam whipped out his 17″ ::gasp:: Powerbook. Not to mention the 30GB iPod. Wow (a different type of ‘wow’ from my The Core ‘wow’)! Never before has user-friendliness, professionalism, and detail been so nearly perfected. The OS is rock solid and unshakable and the apps and various programs work uniquely without affecting each other. So great; and you can’t forget the back-lit keyboard! and the invert screen command for night-computing. This is a dream machine. And the new iPods are so much better. They get rid of scrolling and actual buttons for touch sensitive materials (you have to use it to understand how much of a plus that is) and the edges get nicely rolled out. Fun fun fun. A great evening and great catching up, once again.

Sunday night I had dinner with Kristine. Great food, great service, and incredible conversation. Enjoyed much.

Oh, and before I forget, I’m totally out of the liking country music thing. Yeah, that was definitely my late spring fling.
