a beautiful day in the neighborhood
While the littluns scamper about around the premises of JF, I now enjoy the privileges of every preempting adult, assuming every adult spends their day laying in the sun and “shooting some hoops.” Anyways, my last day of school was yesterday and today was just the senior breakfast and graduation practice. On the last day, Thursday, we came to school to notice an old Volkswagen Rabbit wrapped around the tree outside the lunch-area patio with much black, silver, and red paint on it, also toting the words “03 Seniors”. A nice touch. So being the shady character I am, I popped one of the hubcaps off as a suvenior (also a dorm decorative). So that was a great way to start off the day.
Then I had two quizzes and one test. But I did use an entire disposable camera, so maybe the memories will justify the work. I also got the email addresses of many of my fellow classmates/friends so I will be able to keep in touch. I tended to just tell people to go to RyanHarne.com instead of actually giving them my email address; although it may have seemed vain and pluggish, I gave my website address because it’s easier to remember and much more convenient than an email, especially when my site contains my email/IM/etc.
Ok, so like I said, today was the official last day, basically just so the seniors can come back to school with a finale-worth breakfast thing. Whatever. Anyways, so we get to school and the senior wall (an enormously important tradition at JF) has been horribly vandalized with all kinds of crap painted on it, not to mention many of the mobiles were sprayed and the band truck got hit hard too. So there were many hard feelings about this during the breakfast. I assume it was an actual JF student, instead of the normal Brookville rivalry thing, and also some people said they recognized the tag writing and whatnot from a particular JF student. Oh well, regardless of who it is, someone will soon be the victim of massive ochlocracy. So then the graduation practice was fine.
And the weather is great. Just below 80F and enough breeze to keep the bugs off you, if you swing at them. A great great day.
Oh yeah, and I completely changed my site. Like? Talk back, use my email.
