quality And content
Saturday went by ok. It wasn’t as physically draining as I had expected it to be. The basketball practice was good; just all scrimaging. I got in a nice 3-pointer and a tip-in. Looks like our team is going to be quite competitive with the group we’ve got right now.
The THP practice set everyone up for the Sunday morning performance. But before I talk about that…
The THP party was awesome fun. Lots of music, video stuff, and games (Dirty Santa and some GameCube). Way good times.
Now, for a Sunday morning report. It was spectacular. And I’m not one to sugarcoat things. The entire set went great. I must complement Jonah on his Snowflight/What Child Is This classical performance; you did awesome man! Every single performance was praised for quality and content. I was really pleased with the entirety of it myself. I played an acoustical solo for O Come Emmanuel while singing my version. I also helped out Queen Mel on her bassed-out version of Angels We Have Heard On High by playing the Leslie organ. Wow, Sunday morning was awesome!
Sunday night was the candle-light service. Very traditionally sentimental.
Today we took my car to get a check-up. Apparently there is a leak somewhere and is somehow messing up things that can’t be seen. Oh well, I trust the people down at Bell’s to do their best.
My cat goes in today for a check-up as well. He’s been limping since Friday and we’re very worried he’s broken something. That poor thing! Ok, you can quote me here because I’m likely never to say this again: "awwww".
I watched First Knight this afternoon with Sean Connery and Richard Gere. Although the plot was ultra predictable, I still enjoyed the truly realistic recreation of that era of time. 6.1 out of 10.
Tonight is the FP leaders’ Christmas party. More fun!
Afterwards I hope to see the new LOTR with Rianna. I’ve heard so much about the movie already and can’t wait to enjoy it myself.
