early admission elite

I’ve always said that Friday the 13th’s are a good day for me. Superstition isn’t even a part of it. Today…well, today was a good day.

Thursday was pretty good; normal schooling experience. Found out I have plenty of homework for the weekend and beyond (meaning during break).

Today at school was ok, nothing spectacular. Had a basketball practice tonight which I just beyond sucked at. Some days I can really do good things on the court, but this was not one of those days. Oh well, another practice next week.

I stopped by our mailbox before I went down our driveway. It was raining very hard and it was very cold. Looked in to see if anyone had already gotten the mail that wasn’t there when I left for practice. Grabbed the mail, some random stuff basically. But I did notice a largely-packed envelope from Virginia Tech.

Suffice to say, I got from the end of our driveway to the garage rather quickly and got inside fast. So I opened up the letter and <WHAM> "We’re sorry to inform you…" I was devastated. Actually, I’m just kidding. I have been accepted into the Early Admission Elite at Virginia Polytechnic Institute And State University. So, making it simple: I now know where I’m going to college.

Shout Out: to God for totally being Awesome and Faithful!!!

This weekend looks to be huge. Work, Christmas shopping, and else stuff. The Denison Marrs concert was cancelled, so I’ll be going to Blue Ridge’s Christmas Cafe.

And for you mathematically challenged people - it’s less than two weeks till Christmas!!!! This is insane…I thought Thanksgiving was like yesterday…
