Saturday was big, crazy but big. Went to work, went to a soon-to-find-out cancelled basketball practice, since it was cancelled I continued my completely unfinished Christmas shopping, then I went to help out with some kids Christmas play I’ve been asked to aid (gag…sorry, but gag).
After that I went to see Signs again with Allison and her friend, Rachael. I lied continually saying certain parts weren’t scary and then delighted in seeing them horrified. Oh, it was great. I also decided to lower my former rating for the movie from 7.7 to 7.1 out of 10. Reasoning: the plot was backed into a corner near the end, and without going into major detail, I’ll just say it wasn’t as universally profound as it could have easily been with a few initial changes. Got it? Great!
The controversial topic thing died on impact. Next time I’ll just shoot myself.
These last couple of days have been crazy. Seriously, things have just been out-of-the-ordinary and not the normal at all. I hope they settle down, but at the same time, maybe this is the start of something big. Only God knows that one.
