usual rebel-self

End of 1st 6-weeks at school. Not bad so far, but all my teachers warn of things to come.

Wednesday night I had dinner with Mark at Applebee’s. Good times.

Started raining Thursday evening and hasn’t stopped since.

FP morning meeting went great. Being his usual rebel-self, Cliff (FP leader mentor) blew straight through one of the basic guest rules. But I’m not complaining. More good times.

Tonight I saw Spiderman with Mark. After hearing so much great feedback from other viewers, I was shocked at the whole thing. Honestly, people, the plot is shallow. When MaryJane said "The truth is…" regarding her secret hidden love over Peter Parker…ugh…come on. It was Cheese. Although the graphics were incredible thanks to some advanced Sony geniuses. As a whole, the movie was no different than me sitting down and reading a comic book from the original, same stupid villains and same supernatural good guys. Realism even in the basic parts of the movie was just not compatible with…reality. 5.1 out of 10 (but the graphics are worth it all, just great graphics).

Shout to Jennifer Bing who kindly allowed me and Mark admittance into the sold out show. Technically it wasn’t sold out, but they weren’t offering more tickets to be sold, maybe that makes more sense.

Afterwards another meal at Applebee’s. I fixed up Mark’s surround sound "problems" by rearranging his array of inappropriations. Sounds much better now. Looks better too.

Thanks to Jeremiah for his PhotoShop 7 work of the famous "Pudn’s Place" logo.
